Back by popular demand, we are delighted to be able to re-run this popular writing workshop with bestselling author, Syd Moore.

This is an online writing workshop with a difference – using special objects, hand-picked from the archives of Colchester Museum to inspire your work.

Black Lives Matter and the killing of George Floyd have highlighted continued inequalities in the US and UK. Part of our history is problematic. Artefacts associated with aspects of our dark, taboo or problematic past have been handpicked by the curatorial team at Colchester Museum. In this online writing workshop you will work with these objects, guided by bestselling novelist, Syd Moore, to devise a unique piece of creative writing as an imaginative response.

This is an online writing workshop so please have a pad and pen handy.
