Join us for a fabulous day of water and seaside themed family fun at Jaywick Martello Tower, when artists Close and Remote launch their new exhibition at the Tower, called Days Like These. They will be unveiling the world’s very first 360Watercolour Virtual Reality Tour of Jaywick Sands, commissioned by Essex Cultural Diversity Project as part of a series of commissions across the county.

Come a long and take part in a number of activities including:

11.00am – 12.00pm: A beachcombing walk with Wendy Constance, artist and children’s author
11.00am – 12.00pm: Watercolour painting with artists Close and Remote
12.00 – 1.00pm: Official opening of Days Like These exhibition
1.00 – 3.00pm: Origami boat building as part of The Mothership Project
1.00 – 3.00pm: Storytelling with award-winning Glenys Newton
