Be part of a large-scale artwork, popping up on walls around Harlow this March!
Polish artist Jola Kudela creates beautiful murals, claiming public space to celebrate the diversity of communities around the world. Her work recreates old masters, with locally based people taking the place of those in the paintings.
Storyteller Glenys Newton will be on hand to capture participant’s voices, personal stories and opinions about Harlow. We are also inviting arts organisations and community groups to come along to share, showcase and celebrate their work.
Come along, find out more, pose for the artwork in our photo shoot, and share your story.
This event is a partnership between Essex Book Festival, Essex Cultural Diversity Project and Polish Cultural Institute, bringing people together who want to champion and celebrate diversity in our communities. It is the second in our Stand Up For Diversity series of events.
