You are invited to an evening of short performances, readings and shout-outs to mark International Women’s Day 2023.

A number of creatives have been invited to share their work. We want to collectively and creatively celebrate our achievements as women, shine a light on issues affecting us today, and together drive gender parity and positive change. Come along and be part of the conversation; make connections, be inspired, and be heard!

Hear Me Roar! is a collaboration between Essex Cultural Diversity Project, Eye of Boudica and Essex Book Festival. Hosted by the Mercury Theatre it is part of the Stand Up For Diversity series, which brings together people who want to champion and celebrate diversity in the arts and in our communities, and share the work they do with others.
